Depending on what is your expectation, a simple meal is good enough. Boiling soup is the most simplest food in chinese dishes, but still, a lot of people find it very difficult to do it. I am going to organise my recipes here so that everyone can learn how to cook a simple meal. A) Boiled soup Boiled soup are traditionally Cantonese soup.  I grew up in a 100% Teochew family. This kind of soup do not exist in my cooking dictionary. Only after I married my husband, my mother in law boil these soup every day and from there, I tasted what is boiled soup and understand what kind of soup the Cantonese grow up with. Nowadays, we are able to drink these soup in hawker center and due to wide variety of food hawker center offered, a lot of people do not know where is the origin of these food. Below are some common soup that I now boil for my husband's family during the week end. Anyone can boil soup. It is very simple. 1)  Chinese-watercress-soup 2)  Chinese pumpkin-fish-h

At Aeon Tebrau 2nd level (3rd Level in Singapore's context), you have plenty of choices on what you can eat. With our favorable Sin dollars, you will find that everything you eat will be only at 1/3 of what you are paying in Sin dollars. There are other restaurant like Souper Tang etc. We decided for canton dim sum cause we have Shanghai dim sum the day before. Totally the wrong choice for us. Unlike the outlet at City Square JB Sentral, the service and food just taste different. I guess the only dishes we like were the yam fritters and the congee/porridge. The Yuan Yang (coffee+tea drink) taste only like tea and the salted egg bun, the dough was so chewy. I wonder did the chef used microwave oven to heat them instead of using the convention steaming method to warm the food. The steam pork ribs taste less fragrant compared to the one we dine at D'shanghai the day before. The siew mai was ok and the fried spring roll. Oh gosh. We get the waitress to che

KSL Hotel & Resort Booked the superior room for three and was upgraded to deluxe. According to reception, it is a difference in the level only. Superior will be allocated at the lower floors where deluxe at 20th floor and above. Surely city view is nice. Rooms equipped with coffee/tea facilities, mini fridge, hair dryer. Only set back is, no bedroom slipper is provided. Overall, rooms big enough for us to move freely and clean. We are happy. Our 1st stop for a good meal in KSL Shopping Mall - D'Shanghai. Initially was not every keen to dine here cause I do not really like Shanghai style dim sum. After dining here, realised the food served here has a fusion of both Hong Kong and Shanghai Dim Sum. So we have the best of both world. I do realised that the portion of food were not of big portion. Taste were good. I really love them. The best thing about this place is, I am allergic to prawns. So they are able to tell be precisely which one contain or do not contain
