Booked the superior room for three and was upgraded to deluxe. According to reception, it is a difference in the level only. Superior will be allocated at the lower floors where deluxe at 20th floor and above. Surely city view is nice. Rooms equipped with coffee/tea facilities, mini fridge, hair dryer. Only set back is, no bedroom slipper is provided. Overall, rooms big enough for us to move freely and clean. We are happy.

Our 1st stop for a good meal in KSL Shopping Mall - D'Shanghai.
Initially was not every keen to dine here cause I do not really like Shanghai style dim sum.
After dining here, realised the food served here has a fusion of both Hong Kong and Shanghai Dim Sum. So we have the best of both world.

I do realised that the portion of food were not of big portion. Taste were good. I really love them. The best thing about this place is, I am allergic to prawns. So they are able to tell be precisely which one contain or do not contain prawns. We paid a total of RM75 for this meal. In Singapore, we may need to pay SIN$75 for this meal. We are tummy and pocket happy.
  
2nd stop - tea break. All the kuehs were delicious. Like the chendol too. Plenty of ingredients and the green chendol is not hard.

3rd Stop- Dinner at this roast meat eatery. Very disappointing.

The roast meat were so so only. The only food recommendable is the Tofu. Kai Lan was too oily. And the plain white rice was hard and dry. Why would a restaurant serve such lousy food? 

Other than food, we shop around the KSL shopping mall. There are a lot of mobile phone shops and kiosk selling handphone covers. For me I went shopping for spectacles.
Shopped at M-Trend at level 3 for my digital lens spectacles. Cost me only RM268 for 1 pair of  digital lens (with thin lens). Really very cheap and very happy.

A lot of people would take a bus to KSL shopping mall from JB Sentral. I saw bus number S1.
But I went there by taxi booked from Soar Agency. Paid only $150 return trip. Taxi will pick and drop us from our home and it takes only 1 hour to reach KSL. I think it is very worth it, because, we will definitely take more than 2 hours per way to get there. Besides there are 3 of us and we planed this as a holiday of 2 day 1 night trip. Well, if we go for just shopping, then it may not be the best deal.

One of my favorite filling for Chinese pancake is desiccated coconut fillings. Not those brown coloured ones. I prefer the orange ones. Yes I know brown coloured ones uses gula melaka to make it but I don't like brown desiccated coconut fillings. LOL. 20190519 - Managed to make my own desiccated coconut fillings and taste awesome. Chinese Watercress Soup

Watercress soup A healthy cooling soup for the hot weather. Watercress is good for its cooling properties, while wolfberries (goji berries) is well know for its immunity benefits. Ingredients required (I am cooking for 10 persons) Ingredients A Chicken/pork of your preference (I use frozen 5 frozen drumsticks) Watercress - 3 bunches (3 times of the above picture) Ingredients B Chinese Ham (Optional) - 4 slices (I used the Jing Huo Tui from Taiwan) Garlic (4 big ones) Red dates (24 pcs) Honey Dates (4 pcs) Water - Enough for 10 persons (About 12 rice bowls) Ingredients C  Wolfberries / goji berries -1 tablespoon(added only at the last 5 minutes) Salt to taste There are no scientific way of cooking soup compared with baking.  If you like your soup to taste meaty, you add more meat. Chinese Spinach with century egg

It is Saturday and one of my daughter is having lunch at home before heading out. I will try my best to cook for them so long as my children are at home for lunch or dinner knowing that they will not have enough vegetables intake when dining out. Decided to cook teochew porridge. We have switch to brown rice for quite some time. Decided to cook chinese spinach. I have some left over of duck wings from Taipei. So it ended up as my porridge side dish as well. Simple lunch for 2 person. Our favourite to have plenty of vegetables. Yes, supposed to use century egg. But I have got left over of 3 flavour eggs from my Taipei trip.
