What to eat in Seoul?

Other than BBQ, there are alot ot food that we should try in Seoul. Below are some affordable food that I love when I visit Seoul.

1) Bonjuk
Click Bonjuk Seoul in Google Map and you will be able to find list of porridge chain location indicated in the map.
I had this porridge near Ewha Station few years ago and I fell in love with it.
We can see this porridge chain in quite a number of places in Seoul.
However in Daegu, the outlet in Seomun Market was not good. Perhaps it is always better to go back to the shop that we ate and love before ?
Must try their abalone porridge and dumpling. You will not regret.
South Korea, Seoul, Seodaemun-gu, Daehyeon-dong, Ewhayeodae 1-gil, 9 제원빌딩
2) Tosokchon Samgyetang
The famous Tosokchon Samgyetang Chicken shop located near to Gyeongbokgung Subway station.
If I remember correctly, the black chicken cost 23K and the white at 16K. Add the liquor (meant for drinking) into the soup and we love it. I must say, if you never eat this is when you visit Seoul, it is like you never visit the country. Ha ha ha.
Address from Google : 5 Jahamun-ro 5-gil, Chebu-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul, South Korea
Set in a olden house, this place is always full of tourist. So we went there at 11.30am to avoid the lunch crowd. I am not posting any picture of the restaurant. Let you see for yourself when you are here. By the way, they are very good in crowd control. So even if you need to queue, the queue move very fast.
3) Sulbing Bingsu
This is another common Bingsu Chain where we can see them in Seoul.
We tried 2 outlets -
1) Sulbing Insadong - Ice were not finely shaved. Not very nice sulbing they served.
2) Sulbing near Dongdaemun - Ice were finely shaved and taste very good.

Must try -  Churros
I recomend the one at Dongdaemun

254 Eulji-ro, Gwanghui-dong, Jung-gu, Seoul, South Korea
4)Hotteok and  red bean fishshape pancake
Hotteok and  red bean fishshape pancake - must try in Seoul.
We saw this hawker infront of Sulbing Bingsu at Dongdaemun.
The Hotteok is the best among all that I tried for this whole trip.
The fishshaped redbean pancake is good too. Unlike those from Japan, it has a crispy skin.
You can try them when you see them anywhere.
5) Grill fish at Guuud-Gosami
The beancurd like bean past tofu is so so delicious.
We spent only $35 for this meal for 3 person
Located near Sinchon Station.
Try them out at 53-8 Changcheon-dong, Seodaemun-gu, Seoul, South Korea.

6) Mum's touch fried chicken
The difference in this chicken is it has pieces of topokki mixed with soy sauce served with the chicken. We can add like 1000 won worth of topokki. But I do noticed not all outlet has the toppoki. We ate at the outlet near Daeheung station do not have this option.
